Sara loves to teach dance. She strongly believes that a complete dance education goes beyond exercise and technique: it includes music, improvisation, composition and dance history. It is holistic and develops the physical, cognitive, social and creative skills required to enjoy, create, perform, and understand movement as a means of personal and artistic communication.

Sara is certified teacher by the Rotterdam Foundation for Arts and holds a certificate in pedagogical skills by the Institute for education and professional training (IEFP) in Portugal. She has complemented her dance education with classes of Laban Movement Analysis with Ciel Werts from the Codarts Academy, of Alexander Technique with Gonnie Heggen from the SNDO and of Choreography Skills with Renaud Wiser in London. Also, she was a grantee of the training Discover Your Personal Movement at the Polish Dance Theater in Poznan.

Having taught in prestigious dance schools, primary schools and international festivals, Sara has also worked as a dance teacher in capacity programs for immigrant women in the Netherlands, for the foundations Stichting Akros and Vrouw en Vaart and with teenage refugees for the organization Praksis, in Greece.
