The Doric Gesture is the name given by the Terpsichore - Ancient Greek Dance Company to describe the gesture where all five fingers are held together without any gaps between the fingers. The Doric is used in geometric dances; to express worship; to describe the elements around us - such as a roof, a tray, a leave, etc; and to communicate with others, gesturing the words "come!", "stop" and "give", among others.
Take a few minutes to think of a small event that happened to you today or a beautiful sentence that you heard. Can you describe that event or say the sentence using only the Doric gesture?
